Why Bookura + e-Boekhouden?
As a salon owner, you want to focus on what you do best: providing your clients with the best service. Administration and accounting often take up a lot of time and can be error-prone when you have to manually copy data. With the Bookura-e-Boekhouden integration, this is a thing of the past.
Automatic invoice processing
Every appointment completed in Bookura can be automatically converted into an invoice in e-Boekhouden. Customer data, treatments and amounts are seamlessly transferred, so you never have to create invoices manually again.
Smart VAT rate matching
Bookura automatically links the correct VAT rate to your treatments. e-Boekhouden uses standard Dutch VAT codes (21%, 9% or exempt), which are automatically applied based on your treatment settings.
Invoice template selectable
Do you use your own invoice templates in e-Boekhouden? Bookura allows you to select a specific template so your invoices are always sent with your own branding and invoice numbering.
Revenue category per treatment
Want to break down your revenue by treatment type? You can set a specific revenue category (ledger account) for each treatment. Simply configure this in the accounting settings or directly on the treatment edit screen. This gives you detailed insight into which services generate the most revenue.
Customer data synchronization
New customers who register in Bookura are automatically created as contacts in e-Boekhouden. This ensures your administration is always complete without manual data entry.
Insight into your revenue
By linking your appointment system and accounting, you gain direct insight into which treatments are most profitable, which days are busiest and how your salon is performing financially.
Secure and reliable
The integration uses secure API connections with your personal API token. Your data is sent encrypted and Bookura does not store sensitive financial information.
No webhooks, but still reliable
Unlike some other accounting packages, e-Boekhouden does not work with webhooks. This means that changes to ledger accounts can take up to 24 hours before they are visible in Bookura. However, invoices are sent to e-Boekhouden immediately after creation.

Setup Steps

Create e-Boekhouden API token
Log in to e-Boekhouden and go to Manage → Settings → API/Integrations. Create a new API token and copy it.

Enter token in Bookura
Go to Settings > Accounting in your Bookura dashboard. Choose e-Boekhouden and paste your API token.

Select invoice template (optional)
Select an invoice template from e-Boekhouden if you want to create invoices with your own branding and invoice numbering.

Set up revenue categories
Link a ledger account per treatment via Settings > Accounting or on the treatment edit screen.

Test and go live
Create a test invoice to verify everything works correctly.
