With Bookura's calendar synchronization you can automatically have your appointments appear in your favorite calendar app, such as Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar. This way you always have overview, without manually copying anything. Convenient and time-saving!
What does this feature do?
Bookura's calendar feed creates a personal calendar URL for your salon. This URL contains all your scheduled appointments, so you can automatically view them in your own calendar. The data is refreshed every hour, so your calendar stays up to date.
You determine what's visible in the calendar feed, such as:
- The name of the treatment
- The name of the client (optional)
- Payment status (optional)
- Contact details (optional)
- Location of your salon (optional)
You always maintain control over your privacy: the feed is only accessible via a unique URL that you can regenerate or disable yourself.
How do you use it?
Step 1: Enable calendar feed
- In Bookura go to Settings > Calendar synchronization.
- Enable the feature with the toggle.
Step 2: Connect calendar
Google Calendar
- Copy the calendar feed URL from Bookura.
- In Google Calendar go to "Other calendars" > "+" > From URL.
- Paste the URL and click "Add calendar".
Outlook
- Go to your Outlook Calendar.
- Choose "Add calendar" > "Subscribe from web".
- Paste the URL and click "Import".
Apple Calendar
- Open the Calendar app.
- Go to File > New calendar subscription.
- Paste the URL and click "Subscribe".
- Choose a refresh frequency (recommended: every hour).
Step 3: Adjust or disable
- You can adjust your settings at any time, such as what is or isn't visible.
- You can also disable the feed or generate a new private link via "Refresh token".
